I am organizing items inherited from my grandmother, who was a master of the Omotesenke school of tea ceremony. This is a color-painted matcha bowl made by "Shozan Kato" of Kyo-yaki (Kyoto ware). It features an elegant design with red-painted chrysanthemums on a crackled glaze. There are no scratches or stains from aging. Although it is a used and aged item, it doesn't feel like it has been used much.
