They have a water-repellent finish, so I used them in bad winter weather, but water or snow never seeped in. I don't remember when I bought them, but I think they probably had a water-repellent effect up to about 4cm of rain, etc. The inside is fluffy and warm. They are a bit heavy and stiff, so you might get tired of walking in them. The scratches in photos 6 and 7 are on the inside of both boots. I will try my best to remove the lint and stones stuck to the soles, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
