This is a telephoto zoom lens for Sony's A-mount. It is an older lens from the film era, but it can be used with both full-frame and APS-C cameras. It is an APO (apochromatic) lens, which means it uses special materials like extra-low dispersion glass to correct chromatic aberration. By correcting the chromatic aberration of red, blue, and purple light, and ensuring that the focal lengths of each color are the same, it provides a higher level of image quality compared to non-APO lenses. I purchased this lens used several years ago. While there are no noticeable scratches on the exterior, there are some scuffs. There is no mold or haze, but there is some dust inside that does not affect image quality. Zoom operation, autofocus, and aperture control are all in good working order.
