Two items, red and black. They appear to have been used for writing fine annotations in Japanese books. They belonged to someone born in the late Edo period who lived until the early Showa era. These are old inkstones. The red inkstone measures 5.3 cm x 11.4 cm and is 1.1 cm thick. The black inkstone measures 3.8 cm x 11 cm and is 1.3 cm thick.
