I believe it is from France, around the 1900s. The glaze is still fresh and lustrous, and the slightly thick form is also attractive, making it a very rare shape. There are signs of use and scratches commensurate with its age, but it is in good condition for its age and can likely be used. The item has been wiped with alcohol before listing, so I believe it is clean.
