The 118 model is a version that uses oiled cowhide leather (female cow) instead of steerhide. The leather is thick and smooth for cowhide, and the oily texture is impressive. It's definitely lighter than the 618. The front zipper is a USA-made YKK aluminum zipper, and the sleeve zippers are also USA-made IDEAL. I purchased it from a vintage shop and have taken good care of it, but I am selling it to declutter. It has been cleaned before listing, so it can be worn immediately. Also, although it's difficult to see aging on Schott jackets, this one has sun fading (color fading due to sunlight) despite no fatal stains or scratches, which gives it a more vintage feel.
