After using it, my cat seemed to dislike the enclosed space or the noise, and kept struggling and crying inside, so I'm sadly looking for a new owner. All modes are working properly. Used for only 1 hour without a cat inside and 30 minutes with a cat inside. I shined a light inside to check, and there were no noticeable scratches (though I can't say for certain). I purchased it at the official retail price, so I'm not currently considering a price reduction. I thought my cat would be happy, but it was a sad result for both the cat and me.
