Tongue pads: Unlike regular insoles, these are items that are attached to the upper inside of the shoe to improve the fit! Since they are attached to the upper side (the back of the tongue), you can't tell they're there at a glance, so you don't have to worry about them interfering with the logo or design, and they are also less visible when you take off your shoes.
