This was very helpful when I had to manage bath time with my two daughters by myself. I used it with diapers on, or with a bath towel laid down, and primarily in a dry environment, so there is no damage or staining to the fabric. The Velcro on the back tends to catch on nearby fabric, and there is some pilling in that area. For some reason, they would wait quietly when placed on this, a strange makeshift bed. They sometimes even fell asleep on it. I recommend using it until they can sit up, as they will try to get up and get off it then.
