It's vermilion, not bright red. This is a 3-piece set: obiage (sash scarf), obijime (sash cord), and kasane-eri (layered collar). It's made of pure silk with total shibori (tie-dye) and gold leaf thread. It has a traditional pattern. It has been used once. It's old, but it has been stored in a paulownia chest, so I think it's in good condition. Recommended for Coming-of-Age Day. Thank you for looking.
