This is an antique baby dress from the 1900s, purchased about 30 years ago at a vintage shop in Paris. I believe it was worn on special occasions such as baptism ceremonies. It is entirely handmade, with intricate handiwork in the embroidery, lace, and frills. It would be difficult to find something of this quality today. It's a museum-quality piece. It would be a great item not only for baby dress collectors, but also for antique collectors, doll dress collectors, and those who make clothes, as it would be a good sample. I have never worn it since I bought it, and I washed it before listing it this time. There are no noticeable stains or dirt, and it is a rare item in very good condition for a vintage piece.
