I upcycled a kimono to make a mini Boston bag. To prevent it from losing its shape, I've layered interfacing on the outer fabric and also on the black kimono fabric used for the lining. It has a bottom board. The gusset is double-layered, making it a bag that stands up easily. The gold zipper opens on both sides. The gold button is a hook-and-eye type that can be removed. It has bottom studs. It comes with a snap button band to hold the handles together. Adding a shoulder strap turns it into a shoulder bag. It looks very stylish when carried with black clothing.
