In Morocco, many people wear them with the heel snug, but if you prefer a looser fit, choose a larger size. The size guide provided is for a looser fit, suitable for Japanese customers. If you are accustomed to babouches and prefer a snug fit, you may want to choose one size smaller. Please use this as a reference, considering the shape of your feet, such as high arches or wide feet. We have a direct contract with a Moroccan atelier and have them custom-make these for our Japanese customers, so the quality is far superior to those purchased at souvenir shops. However, as they are handmade, there may be (stains, scratches, fraying, color fading, wrinkles, dents, loose sequins). Babouches use genuine leather (sheepskin) and are tanned using traditional methods. This babouche is made to minimize odor and is part of the odorless series, but perceptions vary, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to smells. However, the unique smell of leather will diminish with use, so please rest assured. The color may appear different from the actual product depending on your monitor. Shipping will be via Nekopos (a Japanese delivery service), and the item will be compressed, which may cause some deformation, but it will return to its original shape with use.
