Price splitting, a technique used by nomadic people in western India to create handicrafts such as camel girths and decorations, is still not very well-known in Japan. However, it is an art form that allows you to create not only cords and belts, but also various three-dimensional works. Although four-strand cords for price splitting were not previously sold in Japan, Jina Kobo has begun importing and selling them. These cords are 100% cotton, 3mm thick, four-strand, and Z-twisted. These two-color twisted cords are used for a double-weave technique called TLOI. They are available in 20m skeins, convenient for making small items, practice, and prototyping. The ends are secured with masking tape. The TLOI mini tapestry example uses approximately 16m, and the Christmas tree example uses approximately 5m. Also, the flower petal scrunchie example uses a total of 6m in combination with a single-color cord. The color combination is forest green and ecru.
