I purchased this 25 years ago when I went to Myanmar. It is unused. It is made by thinly shaving and combining bamboo, and weaving horsehair like the weft. It is then hand-lacquered. It is soft and resilient, and not easily broken. Although it is made very light and thin, you don't feel the heat much even when you put hot soup in it. The pattern is drawn with wonderfully fine line carvings. Height: 7.8 cm, Diameter: 10 cm
