The battery compartment is slightly swollen. While it requires a screwdriver to open, it's a bit difficult, but I replaced the batteries to confirm functionality, and it opens and closes without issue. The cards are all present, but show signs of deterioration due to being paper. You can insert the cards into the toy to play. They function without any problems(^^) This is a portable toy featuring Kuromi, and includes games like rock-paper-scissors. It's now hard to find, a retro game from back in the day.
