Toshogama Kiyomizu-yaki Pair of Tea Cups
The rim has a unique angular shape, transitioning to the rounded form of a typical teacup towards the base. The different shapes at the top and bottom give a slightly twisted impression.
The design features a vibrant blue on a white background. There is a signature on the back. I can't read it, but it appears to say "Toshou."
These teacups look like Kiyomizu-yaki, but I'm not certain. There's a chance I'm mistaken, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
I am currently organizing my grandfather's collection, who was a collector. I'm decluttering, so I'd like to pass these on to someone who wants them.
The frequency of use is unknown, but since they were part of a collection, I believe they are unused.
