Bread Mat - Large Size Size: Approximately 96cm x 96cm I purchased a commercially available, Japanese-made 100% cotton bread mat, but it was too large, so I re-sewed it to a more manageable size. It's slightly smaller than the JHBS large-size bread mat. I think it's a convenient size whether you're baking bread alone or with a few people. I used Schappe spun thread. It has the characteristic flecks and slubs of a bread mat. I try to sew carefully, but it's handmade by an amateur.
