While it resembles a Bach trumpet in appearance, its character is completely different. B&S trumpets are known for their very European sound, distinct from Yamaha or Bach. In particular, it has a tone that is the opposite of silky, with a heavy sound and the impression of many overtones. Because of this, it sounds louder compared to those other manufacturers. I personally feel that this particular instrument has good intonation and pitch. I believe the characteristic of B&S lies in the leadpipe. The gap (insertion depth) when inserting the mouthpiece is slightly deeper than other companies, so you may feel a little more resistance further in. I prefer a wider gap, and while I liked this instrument, I thought it would be underutilized given my current playing situation, so I decided to put it up for sale. Philip Cobb of the BBC Symphony Orchestra also uses a similar model (3137PCL, so the specifications are slightly different), and the tonal quality is likely similar. There is a small dent from a mute on the bell. Otherwise, there are no signs of major dents or distortion corrections. (The resonance is properly maintained) The body weight is 1139g, excluding the mouthpiece. I hope it finds its way into the hands of someone who needs it. A double soft case is included.
