It's a separate type with a hanhaba (half-width) and otaiko (drum) section. The otaiko is shaped with a pillow and finished with an obijime (obi cord). There is a slight stain on the lining of the otaiko, a small storage stain on the otaiko, and storage stains on the cords. I don't think they are very noticeable, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
