This is a landing net (Insta-net) with a custom-made quince burl handle. The rubber net comes in green and black. A handmade sheath made of vegetable-tanned leather is also included. This item is unused. Landing Net Total length: 42 cm, Handle length: 14 cm Frame length: 28 cm, Frame width: 22 cm Designed for fish up to 1 shaku (approx. 30 cm). This was a prototype made for trout fishing in mountain streams and headwaters, so please understand that it is a prototype. It has not been used. There are three main points to note: 1. The hole for the screw on the left side is slightly enlarged and has been epoxied. Because of this, it cannot be screwed in all the way and has a slight wobble (photos 11 & 12). Photo 10 shows the right side. 2. The frame can be folded, but due to its short length, it may not open properly when unfolding and requires manual assistance. 3. A net sheath is also included, but this is also a prototype and is roughly made. It is designed to be attached to a wading belt. For these reasons, the price has been set low. The frame is covered with a protective tube. I think the handle design and the quince burl look cool. The material cost alone was over 10,000 yen. This would be suitable for someone who can repair and maintain it themselves if it gets damaged. It will be shipped folded and in the sheath. The frame folds by twisting it sideways. There are minor scratches from production, natural wormholes and pinholes inherent to fine wood, and scratches on the frame. No claims or returns will be accepted.
