Deba knife, blade length 13.9cm, 192g. The spine is about 7.2mm thick near the top of the heel. It's engraved with "Hiroaki," a brand from a while back. You can only find them in the used market. I also get items engraved with "Tokyo Hiroaki," which seems to be a Tokyo brand. This is a genuine kasumi knife, made by layering soft iron and steel. It has little sign of use and is clean. The back side had a little rust, so I polished it, but the front still has the characteristic diagonal lines from when it was new. The plastic handle retains about 60% of its original luster.
