The obi fabric is a textured fabric woven with a delicate seigaiha (wave) pattern, subtly incorporating memorable scenes of the southern islands, such as shisa (lion-dog statues), hibiscus, whale sharks, and pineapples. The "Getto" (shell ginger) pattern, which stands out on the white background, is based on the fragrant plant native to Okinawa, and its beauty is highlighted by the refreshing shades of indigo and delicate brushwork.
