Product Description: 70s Canadian Army Storm Coat. While many have numerous repairs and tears, this is a mint condition piece with almost no damage or stains. This coat was issued to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), which is rare to find. Features a desirable double zip. The zippers are Lightning brand. The zippers function smoothly. The buttons are the large parachute buttons characteristic of the Canadian Army. The shell is a beautiful, deep navy nylon material with a glossy finish, and the collar is made of wool. Although the hood is missing, the coat still has plenty of character. Matching elbow patches are a nice detail. The inside of the large front pockets is red, a thoughtful design detail. The pockets are also designed for high insulation. ECW combat parkas are becoming scarce, but this model is even rarer. You'll hardly see it in vintage clothing stores or markets in Tokyo. The lining is padded, and there are buttons at the bottom for wind protection. This is a well-made, warm coat. Size: XL. Equivalent to XXL, a large size.
