This is a Fürst-Pless post horn, also known as a mail horn. In the mountainous regions of Europe, horns were once used to announce the arrival of mail. Even today in Europe, the post office is marked with a horn symbol. Overall, it has an antique appearance with some dulling and soiling, but there are no dents.
