This is a set-up made by upcycling a Kuro-tomesode (formal black kimono). Measurements (laid flat): * Top * Width (underarm to underarm): approx. 62 cm * Length: approx. 56 cm * Pants * Total length: approx. 91 cm * Hem width: approx. 46 cm * Bolero * Sleeve opening to sleeve opening: approx. 131 cm * Sleeve opening width: approx. 32 cm * Ribbon length: approx. 212 cm * Please allow for slight variations. The waist is fully elasticated. A 2.5 cm wide elastic band, 75 cm long, is temporarily secured with safety pins. Please adjust the waist size to fit your own by sewing it larger or smaller. There are five belt loops made of the same fabric sewn onto the waist. There are a total of 10 tucks, 5 in the front and 5 in the back. The pants have a diamond-shaped gusset in the crotch to allow for a wider range of movement. The diamond shape also provides extra room inside the pants. Adhesive tape is used around the neckline as a core and on the edges of the diamond-shaped gusset to prevent fraying. The selvedges are left as is, and the cut edges are finished with a serger. Photo 14 is an image of the bolero. There is no elastic in the sleeve openings. Please note that the fabric material is unknown. The garment has not been pre-washed. It has been made as is from the kimono when purchased. This is a handmade item created by an amateur as a hobby. There may be imperfections such as loose threads, slight asymmetry, and overlooked stains. Please consider this before purchasing.
