Then, we have removed the salt by running water for about 2 weeks, changing the water frequently. After that, we have dried it in the sun for 7 days. We have brushed it in between. We have removed the tannins, but please re-treat them if you use them in an aquarium. Since they are natural items, there may be cracks, splits, and chips.
