A very elaborate and heavy Kan-kumihimo braid in burnt umber, black, and bengara (red iron oxide). The black and bengara alternate, creating a sophisticated design. The color scheme is reminiscent of men's wear, but it has a captivating allure. This is a stylish obijime (sash cord) that would be applauded by an Edokko (a person from Edo, now Tokyo). Length: Approximately 150cm without the tassels. Unused. There is a slight fuzziness from storage. There are one or two small thread protrusions. Please check the photos.
