The large abstract pattern is rendered in gold leaf, with parts of it outlined in white embroidery, creating a very intricate design. The matte texture of the Bordeaux fabric, the shimmer of the gold leaf, and the three-dimensionality of the embroidery combine to give presence to the wearer's back. There is some fraying on the tip of the hand part, but it will not be visible when worn if folded inwards. There are scuff marks on the gold leaf, but they are difficult to see due to light reflection. There are signs of wear from being tied. The previous owner has sewn some parts together to make it easier to wear. It will be delivered as is, but can be easily removed if you are concerned.
