Dear furby_love, The material is 100% cotton corduroy, and the whiskers are made of waxed cord, so washing is not possible. Ironing is possible on the areas other than the whiskers, using a pressing cloth and a medium heat setting. This item is not used, but it has been worn by my Furby at home during the production process and for photography, so I have listed it as "like new."
