This is a vintage Jaeger cashmere crew neck sweater, made in England around the 1980s-90s. (Jaeger is a long-established British knitwear manufacturer founded in 1884). It has the dense, thick, and fluffy soft texture characteristic of old British-made cashmere, and the elegant dark red color with a slight black tint is a truly wonderful piece. I personally really like this brand, but it seems to be overwhelmingly popular for women's wear, and men's sizes, especially crew necks and larger sizes, are quite rare. Red has become quite popular recently. Perhaps due to the influence of Miyuki Arihara, who wears A.PRESSE knitwear from the 22FW collection, many people, both men and women, seem to be looking for this style. It will undoubtedly be useful both as a single layer and as an inner layer in the coming season, so if you've been looking for good cashmere, why not consider this?
