Italian Leather: Toscano Liscio leather from Conceria 800 (Tuscany, Italy), processed using the Vacchetta method. The Vacchetta method is a traditional Italian method passed down for 1000 years. It is made over several months in a vat of vegetable tannins (a type of polyphenol), and is a high-quality cowhide that is naturally derived and environmentally friendly. The more you use it, the more it shines, and the aging process that changes it into a deeper flavor is also one of its charms.
