This is a set of sake cups and small plates (for delicacies) from the "Shochiku-bai Sake and Appetizer Set" by the Hakusan Kiln of Hasami-yaki. It features auspicious gold-painted floral patterns of pine, bamboo, and plum, with a characteristic sometsuke (blue and white) diamond pattern and gold-colored paintings of pine, bamboo, and plum. Uses: This is a set of sake cups and small plates (mamezara) that can be used as saucers for the sake cups or for serving small appetizers. Hakusan Kiln is the original high-end brand of Ishimaru Pottery of Hasami-yaki, producing beautiful tableware with old Imari designs. [Sake Cup] Diameter: approx. 5 cm, Height: approx. 6 cm.
