It has a glossy linen cotton material and a nubby texture throughout (this is an original characteristic and not pilling). The hem is flat and the length is not too long, so I think it's a good size for wearing over a T-shirt. There are wrinkles from washing. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.
