This pot is an all-rounder, usable for hot pot dishes, rice cooking, grilling, and stewing. (Not suitable for deep-frying.) Please check the Doraku website for usage instructions. There is a chip on the lid. There is a crack in the bottom of the main body (please take a close look at photo 4). However, it is said that donabe become easier to use and heat better after cracks (cracks) appear, so please refer to the Doraku website and make your own judgment. Purchased about 4 years ago and has been used regularly for various dishes, so there is a feeling of use. Please understand this before purchasing.
