The Type 5 Fighter, often called a latecomer, had its airframe completed due to delays in the production of the Hi-en engine. However, it was equipped with an air-cooled engine, and its performance was unexpectedly good, earning it a commendation from the Minister of War in 1945. This model, while old, has well-fitting parts and is, I think, a good model. Since its appearance was in 1945, I painted it to give it a slightly faded look.
