Book Overview Around the world, there are people who are striving to solve social problems, contradictions, and power structures in their own unique ways. Over the course of two years, we conducted original interviews with over 300 individuals, speaking with them about their ideas, actions, and the "thoughts" behind them, as they rise up in various countries. Now, more than ever, we have launched our own independent media, free from commercialism or PR, to interview alternative thinkers from around the world. We want to share the realities of the world and the cultures we cherish with a wider audience, and so we created this book. "Preparing for Departure" (PD) is the title we chose, hoping that this magazine will reach the hearts of as many people as possible and serve as a catalyst for setting goals and purposes.
