As you can see in the photos, beads are applied to the entire front surface of the fabric, and glass beads are attached in places on the strap. The back is black fabric. The opening has Velcro. I really like it, but I'm selling it because I don't have a chance to use it. It can hold a smartphone and lipstick, but it doesn't have much depth, so it doesn't hold much.
