This is a set of three items: a Yanagisawa alto saxophone mouthpiece (rubber, size 3), a Magic Ligature, and a metal tenor saxophone cap. (I don't know the manufacturer of the cap. I think it's probably Yanagisawa. Please consider it as a bonus.) The coaster in the bottom of the third photo is not included in the sale. (I only used it for the photo to prevent the mouthpiece from rolling away.) I am currently focusing on TS, SS, and FL, so I am organizing my belongings. The mouthpiece has scratches on the beak where the teeth hit (photo 5). I examined the tip rail, side rails, and table with a magnifying glass, and there are no noticeable scratches (this is just my amateur assessment, so please understand that it may lack precision). The narrowed part where the neck goes in has some discoloration when you look closely (it's not completely black, but a slightly grayish color). The metal cap is for a tenor saxophone, but if you squeeze the bottom tightly by hand, it fits almost perfectly, so I will include it. Of course, there is dirt inside the cap from corrosion. If you are concerned about the combination of an alto mouthpiece and a tenor cap, please consider it as if there is no cap. The Magic Ligature is, of course, gold-plated, but as you can see in the photos, there is considerable discoloration. (In my personal opinion, I don't think the discoloration affects the tone.) The Yanagisawa mouthpiece, according to the manufacturer, uses German-made ebonite, and I feel the quality is very good. Also, the Magic Ligature is lightweight and does not interfere with the vibration of the reed, while still holding the reed firmly in place. In my personal opinion, it was the best among the various manufacturers I have tried. I took several photos to make it as easy to understand as possible for everyone viewing, but I don't have much photography skill, so the photos I've posted are the best I can do. This is a used item, so I do not recommend it to those who are sensitive. No returns or exchanges. Thank you for looking.
