We hope you will cherish these items. ★ Items for sale BACCARAT Murcie Old Baccarat Crystal Extremely Rare Murcie Burgundy Wine Glasses, Set of 2, A We are offering very rare wine glasses designed by Georges Chevalier, a genius designer who served as Baccarat's artistic director from the 1930s to the 1970s. This is the Murcie model, created in 1931 by Georges Chevalier, a work of the purest line that values beauty solely through its shape, without any decoration, positioning the aesthetics of crystal as a return to simple forms and transparency. It is featured on page 260 of the book "Baccarat Tableware" by Jean-Louis Curtis. The bowl has a wide, tulip-shaped form that opens upwards, and the stem has typical Art Deco buttons, making it practical for use. As these glasses do not have the Baccarat mark, they are estimated to have been manufactured between 1931 and 1936. This beautiful piece is in excellent condition, showing no signs of aging.
