This is a rare piece of Tanba fabric, woven in Tanba City, Hyogo Prefecture, a fabric said to be "phantom cloth" and passed down for 300 years. This particular piece has been carefully preserved since the Meiji era. Its thinness and lightness are unparalleled among other Tanba fabrics, a testament to its enduring quality over time.
