The Jakobsson Lamp is a masterpiece of lighting design created in 1957 by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, a leading Swedish lighting designer. Throughout the series, the lamps feature shades made from thinly sliced, naturally dried pine wood. The soft light that permeates the wood grain evokes the warmth of a campfire or twilight, bringing comfort to people in the long nights of the Nordic region. The wood used is pine. Because it grows slowly and accumulates annual rings gradually, it has fine grain and a beautiful wood texture.
