This is a slightly vintage Katagami-zome komon. It has a fine pattern like Edo Komon, and the simplicity of a pale beige background with only purple highlights the beauty of the design. The fabric is sturdy, possibly a type of tsumugi, and a bit stiff. The lining (hakke) is also a stiff tsumugi-like fabric.
