I layered it over a T-shirt in the summer and over an ivory long-sleeved T-shirt in early autumn. The open back makes it perfect to wear over a swimsuit at a resort, or even directly on the skin – it would be so cute on a baby! (I haven't used it with a swimsuit at the beach or pool; it was only for everyday wear.) It hasn't been worn many times and is in good condition, but please understand that it is a used item.
