I purchased these several years ago. I've used each of them 2-3 times. They have been disinfected with alcohol. The lower left earring in the first photo is silver, the others are gold. The post of the lower right earring in the first photo has some slight rust, but it's not noticeable when worn. I took good care of them, so there are no other noticeable stains or scratches.
