I remade a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) I bought at a recycle shop. It has a gorgeous pattern. It's a beautiful red. The lining of the long bag is made from fabric of a nagajuban (long under-kimono) that I bought as a bolt at a recycle shop. There is overall "yellowing". The lining of the body bag is from the hakke (lining of the lower part of a kimono) of another kimono. There are creases that I couldn't remove. The photo shows a Tsugaru shamisen inside. The shamisen is not included. Materials: Outer fabric: silk (furisode) Lining: long bag - silk (nagajuban) body bag - unknown (hakke) This is handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this. Here are my personal thoughts... When a shamisen is left unused, the sound becomes muffled, but I feel that it gives a good sound as you play it more and more. However, I feel that if I store it in a long bag and body bag made of silk, it will give a good sound from the first strike. (*^^*)
