This is a steel accessory that allows you to detach the strap from the guitar simply by pinching and pressing the left and right buttons. I think it can also prevent the guitar from falling. I bought it intending to replace the existing one, but the head of the screw on the strap pin of the guitar I was planning to attach it to was stripped, and the screwdriver wouldn't turn, so I couldn't replace it after all.
