Purchased 30 years ago in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. This is a set of two traditional tartan check cotton men's handkerchiefs. They are old but in beautiful, unused condition. The case shows some age-related wear. Jenners (photo 5) was a historic department store located on Princes Street in Edinburgh, and was the second oldest department store in the UK. Founded in 1838, it held a Royal Warrant and was famous for its magnificent building and selection of Scottish souvenirs (tea, shortbread, cashmere products, etc.), but closed at the end of 2020 and is now being redeveloped as a hotel. #Scotland #TartanCheck #Handkerchief
