With Keizo Kumakura as the printing director, this book is a must-see, with printing that reproduces the texture of cutting and pasting, and a brilliant pure white binding by the author himself. "Another Shinjuku," which deconstructs Daido Moriyama's masterpiece "Shinjuku" and reconstructs it using all the pages. Snapshots are created by endlessly "cutting out" the vast external world as tiny fragments. My photo book "Shinjuku," which was published in the past, was originally created in this way. The many images of Shinjuku printed in that book are further cut into countless fragments by Mr. Shohei Yoshida, once deconstructing all the images, and then reborn as the Shinjuku that Mr. Yoshida "now" experiences and responds to through the expression method of collage. I think that the flexibility that photography originally possesses lies in this very act of creation and in the spiral transformation itself.
