A beautiful Japanese traditional craft featuring a landscape and Hina dolls painted on seashells. This item was given to my mother by an acquaintance about 50 years ago, and she kept it carefully at our family home. It seems she enjoyed displaying it a few times during the Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival) season. These are very rare, small, and tiny Hina dolls, carved with a single knife. Due to the reorganization of my family home, I would like to pass it on to someone who will continue to cherish and display it. There is no accompanying box, so I will carefully package it for shipping. Although it is very old, each brushstroke is meticulously done, making it a very beautiful piece.
